Here's the scoop

We just completed third novel. Loser is a book Award Winner Jerry Spinelli. The main character in the novel is Zinkoff. One word that describes Zinkoff is brave. The reason I think this word describes him is because he is not scard of nothing. The setting of the story is when Zinkoff go to school. 

Zinkoff off mom made polly a alarm and she had to yell bye.  Zinkoff mom ran after him.  Zinkoff was the first kid that could spell a big word.  Zinkoff got a A on his paper.  Zinkoff  went to the old lady that say oh mailman.  The best part of the book was when Zinkoff and his dad when on take your son to work day.  If I could Change any apart of this book I would change when Zinkoff mom sold his hat because His dad got that for him and he should keep it. Thank you 

Here's the scoop

     Today is Friday, November 15, 2013 and the weather is getting cold. We have been working hard in math. We have learned new divisbility rules.

     We have also learned to find the greatest common factor. In order to find the GCF you need to find all the factors of the number. 

     The number of the day is 33, we take a number and we get ever thing is that equal that number.

      Mrs. Binge's 6th grade class is selling snack passes for $1.00 every Wednesday gum and snack passes. The money they raise goes to Growing Strong and Habitat for Humanity. 

     Congratulations to the following students that made the Durfee team; Tyler, Kaderius, Jacobe, Jahmel, Kamilan, and Trelyn. Their first game is Tuesday at the DISC at 3:45. 

    Our next States and Capitals test is Wednesday, Novebmer 20, 2013. I am currently studying to take the States. I am sure I will do better.

     There is a song on YouTube that have been using to help us with our States. I really love that song. 

     We have also been studying lots of Vocabulary words. Each week we make flash cards,

     work on sentences, graphic organizers and made videos with our iPads.

     My favorite work we've learned so far is monologue. The definition is a long speech given by one person. 

     Our Holiday program is December 12 at 12:45. The 5th graders will be singing Jingle Bell Rock and We Will Jingle. 

     In Reading we are reading Loser. The book is about this boy name Zinkoff and he love school and he like to play and to be like his dad. I like this book because Zinkoff he love to have fun and I do to. Thank you for reading my blog bye!
